MANUSCRIPTS REQUIREMENTS

 

Manuscripts must be accompanied by an official letter (addressed to the chief editor and signed by the head of the institution where the authour works)  and expert opinion on the advisability of publishing in the press

Manuscipts  should be submitted in electronic form and not exceed 10 pages, including tables, figures and list of references. Please use  Times New Roman font size 14, line spacing 1.5,  A-4 size, margins of 2.5 cm on each side.

Compositionaly the structure of the manuscript should as the follows:

  • initials and surname (s) of authour (s), position, academic degree (ft) (in Russian and  English);
  • affilation of the authour (s) (in Russian and English) with the full postal address  of the organistion (postal code, country, region, city, street, house);
  • e-mail and contact phone numbers;
  • index in the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC);
  • manuscript title (in Russian and English);
  • summary and key words (in Russian and English). Summary should be informative and completely self-explanatory, briefly present the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions.  The manuscript content is to be summarised in 200-250 words or less. Do not start the summary with the repetition of the article title! Use standard nomenclature avoiding   abbreviations. The preferable format should include a description of the study background, methods, results and conclusion. Do not divide the summary into paragraphs and  do not use the introductory words or phrases !;
  • the main text (including figures and tables).

It is  highly recommended to adhere to the following  content structure in the main text of the manuscript:: introduction, presentation of the theoretical and / or experimental methods, results, discussion, conclusion.

Drawings, photographs, diagrams should be clear, understandable and presented in separate files (which are to be submitted along with the manuscript itself) of standard jpg format (resolution 300 pixels / inch) in colour. Scanned photographs and photocopies (not suitable for publishing) will not be accepted for publication. If the figures depict axes, you must indicate their name and designate the numerical values in them. Each figure should be accompanied by a caption and be positioned in the text after the reference to this figure (for example, (Fig. 3) or "Fig. 4 shows ...").

Tables should also be placed after the references to them in the text (for example, (tab. 1) or "The calculation results are presented in tab. 5"). Each table should be numbered and have a short name corresponding to its content. In the tables you should use standard abbreviations (eg g.- year vv.- century St.- pages, thous., Million, billion rubles.)and measurement units (adopted in the International System (SI)) of physical quantities and equations of connection between them. The minimum font size in the table is 11 pt. When the tables are too large, it is advisable to split them into several smaller ones.

In the manuscripts the authour(s) intend to submit, it is necessary to present only long-term and mathematically processed experimental data(at least 2 years for obtaining sufficient and reliable experimental data) with indication of the NDS or other accepted reliability criteria of the results obtained and the conclusions based on these findings.
The cited literary sources should be accompanied by references in the text (in square brackets). At the end of the article is placed in order to appear the  reference list indicating all the authours, name of publication, place of edition year, and page numbers (no more than 20 sources).

At the end of the article the authour(s) must provide contact telephone number / fax (preferably mobile, for quick communication with the authour), and e-mail address.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit the submitted texts and to reject manuscripts in cases when the subject of the submitted article does not fall within the scope of the journal or when the submitted manuscript content fails to comply with the above rules.

At the request of the Higher Attestation Commission, the electronic copies of the articles published in the journal are posted in the database of the Scientific Electronic Library elibrary.ru (for index assignment by the Russian Science Citation Index). In this regard, the authour’s consent to publish his article in the journal will be regarded as the consent to post its electronic copy in the electronic library.
